Today we're introducing Clinical Cases, the largest addition to passMCQ since launch. Over 200 multi-question cases now span every one of our 39 Clinical Care topics: each case is one patient's story, complete with a medication list and laboratory results, followed by a sequence of linked questions that unfold as the story progresses.

Why cases?

The Qualifying Examination's public blueprint includes case-based questions for a reason: real practice means reasoning through a patient, not recalling facts in isolation. Cases train exactly that: you interpret the same labs, weigh the same medication list, and carry context from one question to the next, the skills the case-based format is built to measure. Reference ranges are deliberately not shown, because interpreting values is part of the skill being examined.

Where to find them

Open any Clinical Care topic and look for the Cases button on the topic card, or browse everything in the Cases tab. Work through a single case or an entire topic's cases in Study or Quiz mode. Cases also appear inside Exam Style mock tests, woven between standalone questions the way the real paper mixes them.

Every case is fully bilingual, available in English and French, like the rest of passMCQ.
